"This was a special year for country music in Denver with Garth Brooks, followed by Harry Connick Jr., and then Luke Bryan. Harry Connick Jr., whom I had seen earlier in the year with Eric Church in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome, was on tour after taking a year off and was better than ever. Fresh and engaging, he couldn't have been in any better form. Jason Aldean, whom I had seen once before, really put himself into this stadium tour and delivered a great performance. Old Dominion, who started things off earlier on the bill, have set themselves up as a band with a growing base of popularity. Cole Swindell put on an energetic set, marking himself as one of the new breed of country male singers. Brantley Gilbert, the bad boy of country music, rocked the place just like he did in Atlanta. The show began at 4:30 pm and ended around 11:00 pm. You definitely got your money's worth and then some. Great great show!"
